About Our Basketball Program
The North Haledon Recreation Commission offers basketball programs for boys and girls from Kindergarten through 8th grade, including clinic, rec league, and travel options.

Programs Offered
- Clinic Program (K, 1st & 2nd Grade) — $55: Runs every Saturday morning, January through early March. First half focuses on fundamentals; second half includes game play.
- Rec League (3rd-8th Grade, Boys & Girls) — $80: Part of the Passaic Valley Youth Basketball League. December is practices only; games begin in January. Playoffs in early March with finals on a Saturday in Mid-March.
- Travel Basketball: For athletes seeking higher competition. Girls teams in the Northwest Bergen Passaic Girls Basketball League. Boys teams in the North Jersey Junior Basketball League.
League Philosophy
Our rec program focuses on sportsmanship, equal playing time, and getting everyone involved equally. We frown on runaway games and any one player dominating.
