Our Fields
North Haledon Recreation maintains several field locations for our sports programs.
Rec Fields (Fields 1-5)
Our main recreation complex includes 5 fields, tennis courts, batting cages, and a pavilion.
Willow Field
Additional field location for overflow games and practices.
Covenant Field
Additional field location for games and practices, located at Covenant Christian Reformed Church.
Lightning Detection System
North Haledon has installed a Lightning Detection System on Fields 1-5 and Willow Field to aid in the protection of residents during activities on our recreation fields.
When the siren sounds, you must immediately leave the field and take shelter in a protected area (most often a car). Under no circumstances should you stand under a tree, near a fence, or near a pole. When the siren sounds again after at least 30 minutes and the strobe light turns off, you may return to the field.
Important: While this system is a helpful aid, it should not replace your judgment. When in doubt, cancel the game or practice and send everyone home.
